On October 27, a delegation from Ningxia staged a promotion event in Brussels, Belgium, highlighting Ningxia’s competitive and speciality products under the China-EU Geographical Indication Agreement. Bai Yuzhen, Director-General of the Ningxia Foreign Affairs Office, attended and addressed the event. More than 30 representatives from Belgium’s political, business, and cultural sectors were present, including Erik Famaey, Vice President of the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
In her speech, Bai Yuzhen provided a comprehensive overview of Ningxia’s natural resources, economic development, and specialty and competitive industries, with a special focus on products such as wine and goji berry, which are included in the China-EU Geographical Indication Agreement. Attendees spoke highly of the premium products from Ningxia and expressed their willingness to establish connections, step up communication, promote trade, and deepen practical cooperation with relevant Ningxia partners.

During the event, the Ningxia Helan Mountains’ Eastern Foot Wine Industry Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding on friendly cooperation with the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
