From September 11 to 13, a four-member delegation led by Abolfazl Khalilpour, First Deputy Director of Industrial Department of the CPDI visited Ningxia. The delegation met with officials from Ningxia’s relevant departments and toured various enterprises, gaining insights into Ningxia’s economic and social development achievements and bearing witness to Ningxia’s efforts in advancing Chinese modernization. They also aimed to tap into cooperation potentials and seek practical cooperation opportunities with Ningxia through the visit.

During their stay in Ningxia, the delegation explored the Minning New Image Exhibition Center, Kaisheng Haofeng (Yinchuan) Industrial Park for Smart Protected Agriculture, and Ningxia Xiaoming Agriculture & Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd., getting to know the unique poverty alleviation cooperation model between Ningxia and Fujian, a more developed province in eastern China. They also learned about the great achievements resulting from the collaboration and paired assistance between the eastern and western regions, characterized by a shift from one-way assistance to mutually beneficial development. In addition, the delegation visited the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base, China-Arab States Technology Transfer Center, KOCEL Steel Foundry Co., Ltd., Ningxia Wolfberry Goji Industry Co., Ltd., and Ningxia Wisdom House International Cultural Communication Group, gaining a deeper understanding of Ningxia’s development, exchanges and cooperation in sectors such as new materials, modern coal chemical industry, high and new technologies transfer and international Chinese language education.

The delegation members remarked that, through on-site visits and in-depth exchanges, they have gained a deeper understanding of China’s relentless efforts in improving livelihoods and pursuing common prosperity. They also saw for themselves Ningxia’s practical measures in advancing high-quality development and higher-standard opening up. The CPDI expressed its readiness to seek the common ground for cooperation with Ningxia, leveraging resources brought by international friendship city relations to promote cooperation in high-tech and emerging industries, modern agriculture, and educational exchanges with more projects to be implemented.
