Turkmenistan Delegation Visits Ningxia

From June 5 to 7, a 25-people Turkmenistan Delegation for the World Trade Organization Seminar visited Ningxia, with a view to gaining insights into Ningxia’s practices and experiences in specialty industry development, ecological treatment, and culture-tourismintegration, and exploring new cooperation opportunities with Ningxia. The officials and experts are from 19 Turkmenistan ministries including Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, MinistryofFinanceandEconomy, and State Customs Service.


During their stay, the delegation visited various sites, including the Maosheng Farm and Maosheng Grassland of Ningxia State Farm, Yuanshi Vineyard, Taijin Seeds Co., Ltd. in Pingluo County, Ningxia Wolfberry Goji Industry Co., Ltd. and Sand Lake Scenic Area. After learning about Ningxias advanced technologies and notable successes in fields such as dairy farming, winemaking and goji planting, the delegation highly praised Ningxias efforts in developing modern agriculture based on local conditions,and its practices and concepts of integrating ecological protection with the development of culture and tourism.


At the Party School of CPC Ningxia Committee, the delegation gained a deeper understanding of Chinas development across various sectors through Chinas Height, Speed,Precisionand other dimensions. Detailed data and illustrative case studies havedeepened their insight into Chinas economic growth and poverty alleviation efforts. This enhanced their appreciation for the CPC’s philosophy and policy on state governance. The delegation recognized that openness is vital to global development and applauded Chinas efforts in building an open, inclusive and interconnected world for common development, and a community with a shared future for mankind.


This visit not only served as a window for Turkmenistan officials to better understand China and Ningxia but also laid a foundation for future exchanges and cooperation. The delegation noted that they are deeply impressed by Ningxias vitality and openness.Their experience in Ningxia underscored the tangible opportunities that come with openness, reinforcing their commitment to broader international engagement. They expressed eagerness to promote Ningxias advanced experiences and successful models within their own country. Given the high compatibility and huge potential for cooperation between Turkmenistan and Ningxia in areas such as wine, modern agriculture, germplasm resources, culture and tourism, the delegation intends to leverage this visit to broaden cooperation channels and explore new opportunities, thereby contributing to exchanges and cooperation between Turkmenistan and Ningxia.
