From March 30 to April 2, at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, H.E. Mr. Addisu Arega, Minister of Public and International Relations of the Ethiopian Prosperity Party, led a delegation to visit Ningxia. The purpose of the visit was to gain insights into the successful practices and experience of Party building at the community level, poverty alleviation achievements, comprehensive rural revitalization and green and sustainable development in Ningxia. Liang Yanshun, Secretary of the CPC Ningxia Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Ningxia People’s Congress, met with the delegation.

At the Party School of the CPC Ningxia Committee, the delegation listened attentively to the CPC’s experience in strengthening Party building at the community level and Party officials’ education, and learned about the CPC’s successful practices in Party management and governance from the perspectives of standardized Party membership procedures, adherence to the institutional governance of the Party, leading governance at the community level with Party building, and promoting high-quality Party officials’ education. Minister Addisu highly appreciated the remarkable achievements made by the CPC in community-level Party building, and expressed hope to further strengthen exchanges and mutual learning between the Ethiopian Prosperity Party and the CPC, and promote cooperation with Ningxia in the building of party schools and officials’ training, so as to learn from the CPC’s development experience in various aspects, and bring Chinese wisdom to Ethiopia.

Following the delegation’s visits to Minning New Image Exhibition Center, Ningxia Xiaoming Agriculture & Animal Husbandry Company, Jinhuayuan Community in Litong District of Wuzhong City, Baijitan National Nature Reserve and Ningxia Communications Construction Company, they had first-hand experiences of rural revitalization, community-level Party building, and ecological governance in Ningxia. They also learned about cooperation and development prospects of Ningxia enterprise in Ethiopia. Minister Addisu noted that under the leadership of the CPC, Ningxia’s industries are developing rapidly and the people’s well-being is sustained, and that Ethiopia will learn from Ningxia’s success in targeted poverty alleviation, ethnic unity and green development, so as to explore practical cooperation with Ningxia in various fields, continuously strengthen mutual trust in all respects and deepen friendship.

Bai Yuzhen, Director-General of the Ningxia Foreign Affairs Office, attended the meeting, and Deputy Director-General Zhang Liwei accompanied the delegation during their visit.
