From January 18 to 19, Aurapin Hanchanchaikul, Consul-General of Thailand in Xi’an, led a delegation to visit Ningxia. The purpose of the visit was to gain insights into the development of Ningxia’s specialty industries, explore areas of complementary advantages, and seek opportunities for cooperation. Lei Dongsheng, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary General of the CPC Ningxia Committee, met with the delegation.
Following the delegation’s visits to the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base, Ningdong Taihe New Materials Co., Ltd., Ningxia Hosenji Food Co., Ltd., and Ningxia MYFUN Food Co., Ltd., they gained insight into the development of Ningxia’s specialty industries, particularly in the energy and chemical sectors, as well as food processing. Additionally, fruitful discussions took place with key stakeholders to explore further collaboration between Ningxia and Thai enterprises in these fields.
Aurapin Hanchanchaikul said that in order to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of states, the Consulate General of Thailand in Xi’an will play an active role in connecting channels and establishing platforms, so as to facilitate the practical cooperation between the two sides in trade, economy, investment, people-to-people exchanges as well as international friendship city relations and contribute to the building of China-Thailand community with a shared future.
Bai Yuzhen, Director-General of Ningxia Foreign Affairs Office, and officials from related divisions accompanied the delegation during their visit.
