From November 27 to 28, Kyraubayev Zhoshykhan, Consul General of Kazakhstan in Xi’an, led a delegation to Ningxia. Lei Dongsheng, Member of Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the CPC Ningxia Committee, met with the delegation in Yinchuan.

During their visit, Kyraubayev Zhoshykhan had a meeting with Kazakhstani students in Ningxia and learned about their study and daily life here. He also expressed appreciation to Ningxia for its support and caring towards these students. Additionally, the delegation went to Shizuishan City, where they visited Ningxia Taijin Seeds Co., Ltd. and Ningxia LFY Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. Through on-site visits and exchanges, they learned about Ningxia’s advancements in modern agriculture and its technological cooperation with Kazakhstan.

Kyraubayev Zhoshykhan expressed that the rapid and extensive development of the Belt and Road Initiative in recent years has provided valuable opportunities and broad prospects for China and Kazakhstan to enhance exchanges and cooperation in various sectors. He expressed his hope to utilize the platform of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Xi’an to strengthen exchanges and practical cooperation with Ningxia in areas of economy and trade, agriculture, education and international friendship city relations, and continue to grow and consolidate China-Kazakhstan friendship.

Bai Yuzhen, Director-General of the Ningxia Foreign Affairs Office, attended the meeting. Officials from the General Office of Ningxia People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries attended relevant activities.
