As one of Ningxia’s representatives, Zhang Wenhua, Deputy CTO of Beryl Goji Co., Ltd., briefed the attendees on the status quo of Ningxia’s traditional Chinese medicine industry and introduced Ningxia’s experience in advancing its modern goji industry. Ningxia is endowed with abundant herbal resources and has been developing a traditional Chinese medicine industrial system featuring sound layout, operation, development and management. A case in point is the goji industry. It is a specialty industry in Ningxia with the most distinctive local features and greatest brand value and a comprehensive output value of over 25 billion yuan.
The NXFAO, giving full play to its resources and advantages, is making targeted efforts to help Ningxia’s specialty and priority industries go global, effectively increasing their market reach and brand value. Thanks to these efforts, Ningxia’s preserved goji and goji bud tea were selected as souvenirs at the Briefing on ASEAN-China Digital Cooperation, Ningxia’s wine were served at celebrations of the 77th United Nations Day, and Ningxia’s business representatives got the chance to participate in international conferences and voice their opinions. Going forward, the NXFAO will draw experience from its past practices and make good use of international platforms to promote Ningxia’s brands and showcase Ningxia’s image, so as to boost cooperation and exchanges in key industries and promote high-quality development.
