Som Visal, Consul General of Cambodia in Xi’an, recorded a video to congratulate on the First China (Ningxia) International Wine Culture and Tourism Expo (the Expo).
In the video, Som Visal noted that Cambodia and China share long and steady friendship. Over the past 63 years since the two countries established diplomatic relations, bilateral ties have been growing ever stronger. Since the onset of the pandemic, Cambodia and China have been helping each other in the fight against the disease. The deep-rooted friendship injects great impetus into the cooperation between Cambodia and Ningxia. He recognized the Expo as a national and international exhibition which will provide a platform for exhibitors to expand their businesses in China’s wine market. He said that the Cambodia-China Free Trade Agreement would also help Ningxia to open the wine market in Cambodia and the Consulate General of Cambodia in Xi’an stands ready to facilitate such cooperation.
Under the framework of “Action Plan 2019-2023 on Building China-Cambodia Community of Shared Future”, Ningxia has enhanced exchanges and cooperation with Cambodia in economy and tourism in recent years. This July, Som Visal visited Ningxia to deepen mutual understanding and promote pragmatic cooperation.
