Romanian and Hungarian International Friendship Cities Send New Year’s Greetings to Ningxia

As the Chinese Lunar New Year approaches, Laurentiu Nistor, President of the Hunedoara County Council of Romania, and Istyan Szabo, President of the General Assembly of Pest County of Hungary, sent new year’s greetings and regards to Ningxia people via videos and letters respectively, expressing their willingness to further strengthen friendship and promote pragmatic cooperation with Ningxia.

Ningxia forged international friendship city relations with Pest County of Hungary in 2004 and Hunedoara County of Romania in 2010. Since then it has maintained close interactions with the two sides. Through senior officials’ mutual visits and people-to-people exchanges, mutual trust and friendly relations have been continuously enhanced, forming significant platforms for Ningxia to carry out cooperation with Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries.

Ningxia joined the China-CEEC Association of Provincial Governors on February 5. In the future, Ningxia, by fully leveraging the friendly relations, will initiate more exchange and cooperation projects under the 17+1 framework, contributing Ningxia wisdom to the all-dimensional, multi-tiered and in-depth exchanges and cooperation between China and CEE countries.
