Ningxia Students Participate in the 8th NEAR Youth Art Contest

Recently, Ningxia Foreign Affairs Office and Ningxia Education Department recommended 27 entries to the 8th NEAR Youth Art Contest. These entries were submitted by students from Yinchuan Liupanshan High School, Yinchuan No. 1 High School, Yinchuan Vocational and Technical College and Yinchuan Tanglai Hui High School and displayed on the official website of Ningxia Foreign Affairs Office.
The NEAR Youth Art Contest is a regular event held by the NEAR Secretariat, which aims at boosting exchanges among youth from northeast Asian countries and enhancing mutual understanding and trust with their life presented with art works. The 27 entries, in the forms of oil painting, printmaking, watercolor painting and ink wash painting, showcased Ningxia’s history, culture, natural landscapes and development achievements from different perspectives and reflected the youth’s enterprising spirit and aspiration for the new era.
As a member of the NEAR, Ningxia has participated in the contest for three consecutive years. In the past two sessions, Ningxia’s entries were awarded for their excellent performance and on display in the headquarters of Gyeongsangbuk-do New Office along with award-winning works from other countries, presenting Ningxia to the world in an artistic way.
